I'm currently living with Hodgkins Lymphoma. One of my treatments included a tandem auto stem cell transplant. I described the process of how this works to my buddy Sean and he said "sounds like they're doing a Control Alt Delete on you". I thought it was as good a description as any. That seems like a long time ago but the name has stuck. I've basically had to start my life over, so please feel free to join me!

Going back to War
Just wanted to post a picture of the enemy that I'll be hunting and killing starting tomorrow with the help of my new weapon GVD. This is the son of bitch (named Reed Sternberg) that has been making my life hell the last 11 months.
Wednesday August 27th is the last day Mr. Sternberg and his buddies will be roaming around and freely dividing in my body. So, let's all say goodbye and good riddance!!

Hi Chris,
Got your blog from Duane's site. I am a primary refractory Hodgkin’s survivor. You can and will get to SCT - just have the faith. The ICE isn’t that bad if you have to do it. The SCT isn’t even too bad just a lot of side effects to look out for.
Best of luck!
Heather Z.
Hey Chris,
Found your site on Prizefighter's.
I am 15 months in remission HL
(Classic Hodgkins Lymphoma) and RCC (Renal Cell Carcinoma) both diag'd in Dec 2006 at 37. Surgery (to remove kidney) and 6 months of chemo(to kill hodgkins) took me into July 2007.
Been in remission since 5/17/07
my blog is "taking life one day at a time" or http://scottscancerblog.blogspot.com
all you can do is take it step by step. I'll check your site for updates. Keep the faith and God Bless.
Be Well.
-Scott
