I'm currently living with Hodgkins Lymphoma. One of my treatments included a tandem auto stem cell transplant. I described the process of how this works to my buddy Sean and he said "sounds like they're doing a Control Alt Delete on you". I thought it was as good a description as any. That seems like a long time ago but the name has stuck. I've basically had to start my life over, so please feel free to join me!

Off SGN-35
Well, it's official, I'm off the trial. Time for a Xanax and then re-group tommorrow. I've a CT scan Saturday and follow up neurology/EMG as well as Onc. appt. Tuesday.
We all know change is hard, but SGN was taking its toll on your body and there has to be something better suited to you.......hope the docs have a plan and that the scan shows you some good news.......Vx
i hope that there is something else they can give you. i found your blog by googling sgn35 blogs...my husband will start this treatment in march and sadly its our hope...as my husband doesnt respond to many chemos. please do let us know where your hodgkins is at..and the medical plan your doctors come up with.
Hey Chris, it's Meghan from Seattle :) I've been following your blog for awhile now and just want to say that Mark and I are both thinking about you. Lots of love.
Chris, Don't ask me why I keep searching on line for news for refactory HL - except it was two years ago this very day that Chris got the call he didn't have bronchitus but the " curable cancer" anyway I came across this today a study in London.... from December 2009 http://info.cancerresearchuk.org/news/archive/pressrelease/drug-shows-impressive-results-in-early-lymphoma
I am going to get my 4th dose of sgn-35 nxt wk. I've had a dble stem cell trans and a bone marrow trans for hodgkins. I think I am starting to feel some neuropathy in my fingers...I would be eager to ask you a few q's about your experience, if you have the time. I hope that you and your family are doing OK, despite this obstacle. please email me d.epark@yahoo.com
